Carven Pre Fall 2013

Breaking through the post-war austerity, French fashion house Carven has had a democratic and spontaneous style since its beginnings under Madame Carmen de Tomaso in 1945. Every season the collection seems to grow and without losing its heritage from the couture years, today tradition is merged with the contemporary and rich colours are combined with sumptuous detailing. The Pre fall collection combines simple sophistication and avant garde hero pieces. Beauty is in the detail which is found in print and stunning cuts. I love the shape of the skirts, the use of grained leather and autumnal colours and the metallic look can’t get any more statement.

Some of the collection is already available at Avenue 32.

What do you think of the collection? Which piece do like best?
